"Do you use Lyft, Kickstarter, Postmates, or Instacart? Then you've already used Stripe! It's built for businesses large and small to take payments effortlessly with stand by's like credit cards, and mobile payments like Apple Pay. I use Stripe onn the e-commerce portion of my blog, and couldn't be happier with it's tools for non-programmers like me to be able to build and manage payments. PayPal is so last century. Jump into the 21st century with Stripe! "

"What an awesome app that any business, where big or small, should have on hand. This has been a life saver for me when I am doing flea markets, yard sales or anything that I can just set up my stuff to sale. This device helps to get me more sales when my customers may not carry cash around. Love the app!"

"I love PayPal, but I hate paying the fees as a seller. I was looking for an alternative to PayPal and found 2Checkout. It definitely isn't as good as PayPal, though. First of all, it isn't very intuitive to use and I've found the server has issues with making orders. The sign-up process is convoluted and way too long. Also, it's just not as widely used as PayPal. I will stick to PayPal for now; I don't recommend this."

"The fees to use the service at an ATM are ridiculous, and half the time, the gmail notifications aren't working. I normally use quite a bit of Google's offerings, but after several bad transactions, I'll be switching back to PayPal immediately. Avoid if you value your time and money."

It also has a mobile app that you can use on your phone and 24/7 customer support if you have any problems. It is great for small businesses and is affordable as well. And you can use month-to-month pricing without having to lock in for an extended time period. Overall, seems like a great alternative."

8 PayPal Alternatives for Your Online Business

"Most of the solutions provided actually had similar fees to those of PayPal. Some were from well-known entities, like Google and Amazon, and others had names that were totally unfamiliar. Since you're trying to build trust, and the fees are going to include credit card interchange fees anyway, you might want to stay with a service that is well-known, even if it's a bit more expensive than a no-name player."

"Amazon Payments is a piece of crap, just like everything in the Amazon ecosystem. When it's not down, you'll be lucky when you can verify your bank account, and then, good luck transferring to it! I've waited days just for the confirmation it's started the process, and then it can take over a week to actually move money in, or out! Then, there's the fun of trying to find pages that'll actually accept payments from this clunker! Avoid!"

"I wanted to send money to my friend overseas, but I don't trust PayPal. I've had issues with PayPal in the past and I've heard of friends getting their accounts denied. I found a video detailing ten online payment solutions and so I went through the video, hoping to find some good alternatives. When I saw that PayPal itself was on the list, I got a little worried, as that wasn't what I wanted. The video itself was also very long for something that I could probably read in about a minute. I also had heard of some possible solutions via word-of-mouth that didn't appear on the list, so I wondered why that was. "
