"Underworld Football Manager gave me a chance to build my very own football team in a simulator style mobile game. There is enough cartoon-style action to keep the game upbeat and exciting. It is probably one of my favorite games to play while traveling to pass the time."

"Tho it isn't that much of an "indie" game now, I played it when it was still indie and supported it wholeheartedly, I'm glad that this game made it to this list and that it's really popular now"

"Limbo is a scary little game that almost has the feel of a spooky movie, & yet is simple in it's concept all at the same time. It's in black & white, & a little boy is trying to find his sister because he's worried about her. As he moves through the game he is greeted with obstacles, & attacked by large creatures that he must jump over. There are creepy sound effects in the background. This is probably not suited for younger players, but pre-teens through adult would enjoy it."

“Indie” is a shortened and more broadly-used term for the word “independent”, usually used in things related to media like music, artists, games, movies, and bands. Any group or individual that operates, creates, develops, and/or publishes original works without the ownership or affiliation of any major record label or brand can be considered as indie.

Did you know that Minecraft is considered to be the biggest and most successful indie game that has been released to the public? Minecraft was designed by Swedish developer Markus Persson, who goes by the name Notch, along with a small team named Mojang. The game’s incoming popularity was foreshadowed during its early phases, garnering more than a million purchases less than a month of its early access beta, including the fact that it made an estimated $43.4 million in revenue within 5 months of its official public release.

Presently, Minecraft’s intellectual property, along with Mojang, was sold to Microsoft for $2.5 billion, where it continues to be updated, improved, and constantly fixed of bugs and glitches. The game has also produced two spin-offs: Minecraft: Story Mode, developed by Telltale Games in collaboration with Mojang, and the Minecraft: Education Edition, which was released as a new tool for educational purposes, which can be used for school and in homes.

"I played rymdkapsel on the way to my sister's wedding. I needed something i could pick up and put down easily while i was going through the motions of the rehearsal and the 4 hour bus ride. It was fun! I had a hard time putting it down, but i wont hold that against it. The gameplay is unique, the graphics fit with the overall feel of the game, and the challenge provided by other online players is we rounded. Great game for a casual gamer like myself."

"So Battle Worlds wasn't my personal cup of tea when I played it. But overall it does sit at over 4 stars so it's not horrible, but having only 133 user ratings kind of demonstrates that this game wasn't all that popular. And the solution here is accurate in that Battle Worlds is an Android game and the link actually took me to the Google Play store page, instead of the Steam store page for the game."

"I am not a fan of apps that promote violence in games. I have not heard of "Flipping Legend" before, but it didn't seem particularly interesting. What I did think was interesting, was that there were options for more child-focuses game apps on the same site as this game of fighting. I would have preferred that violence and older versus younger game apps be separated."
