This app has all the tools you need. It is easy to use and you can take it anywhere, so you can write or edit music whenever inspiration strikes. The program is intuitive and easy to figure out, so you'll have no problem figuring out a recording whatever song you've just been inspired to make. Also, it makes it easy to share with friends, bandmates, or just with yourself so you can have a copy on the PC as well. More

To the reviewer named Vishal Kadam, what are you talking about?? Do you even have ForScore?? You can NOT write music with ForScore, it is NOT an app which is for creating music notation, it is, by definition in the app store a MUSIC READER ONLY, and it is great for that, but don't mislead people by claiming ForScore can help you "write and edit music whenever inspiration strikes". That's just pure horeshit. More

Not for writing music at all!!!

ForScore does, in fact, have music writing capability. There are various stave templates which you can use as a basis for writing, or you can create staves of any size within existing files. I use it a lot in this way: making a note of a riff on top of a lyric/chord chart, for example. There are numerous ‘stickers’ you can place on notation, too…things like numbers, musical symbols etc. Zooming in and notating with a stylus means you can make really quite precise notation very easily within ForScore. This is a great on-the-go version of Guitar Pro. Really helpful to write your track and end your composition in the desktop version. It is also really useful to read all pre existing GP files but you can NOT edit them. You can download tabs from your browser and open directly in the app too which is helpful.

You can always access all this information from any other iOs device - MusicXML: Ability to import MusicXML files. - Audio/video/youtube: Ability to import any audio, video or youtube link and attach it to a piece. - Imslp: In app access to the imslp library for free. - Stable as a rock More
