DID YOU KNOW?

Simple mainstream web browsers already existed as early as the 1990s? If we talk the best ones at the time, it would be Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer. The former was one of the most popular web browsers in the market during those times for quite some time. Microsoft's own web browser called Internet Explorer changed the landscape when it came. A big reason for this was that it came built-in with the company's Windows operating system. Internet Explorer took major market share and dominated Netscape Navigator. The company decided to make it source code open-source and handed it over to another company. That was the non-profit entity, Mozilla Foundation.

The Mozilla Firefox web browser was born back in 2004. Together with Internet Explorer, they were two of the most popular web browsers at the time. Well, that was until Google released its Chrome web browser. The rest is, as they say, history. To this day, Google Chrome is one of the best web browsers for most users due to its speed and ease of use. That doesn't mean that there aren't other web browsers around. Web browsers that had specific use cases like private browsers were also popular. Net Neutrality has become a major concern in recent years. These browsers are what people need right now. Private browsers for Windows are plenty. Some are bare-bones are you'll get while others try to include some nice extras.
